Been a while since I've updated.
Nothing much has been happening since Halloween. Projects, and more projects. One presentation that we managed to finish that went alright. Could have presented it more clearly-- it felt kinda muddled up. Maybe because I was just nervous and stuff. Partner wasn't too clear on the stuff either so... I hope we did okay?
On the other hand, I have confidence that I'll do a lot better on the final exam, and I think I can pull off the A+ then and then average my marks out to an A or a B+ at the least.
Yay!
Oh man, I'm gonna feel so poor after I pay off my tuition. I think I might have to just work more to get more money =_= I hate working though. Last two weeks I've only worked 3 days, and I only got $100. Then in a couple of weeks I'm going to be spending $2000 on my tuition. OTL
I'm gonna die. I should stop spending so much money- especially on food! Damn that food.
Anyway. I think I'm going to *try* to sell some things on etsy.com or something. I really need to find out how to do that and how to work paypal... and shipping crap as well : \

Been working slowly on the web page. I decided to make a "splash page" for it, but something about it bothers me compared to the rest of the website, really. It doesn't seem like it really "matches" the rest of it. I don't think I'll be doing anything to change the rest of the layout just yet though because I really want to get some content and stuff down first.

Mind you, I got lazy while I was cropping them from the whole screen shot I took, so some of them have weird borders that they don't have in actuality.
So far there are no frames or tables in the layout XD; Which I'm happy because I don't like using them. But while I'm fiddling around with CSS codes, I realize how much I've forgotten ~__~; It's really cool that CSS is so powerful, but it really sucks when you're too lazy to read through things again to find out exactly what certain things do--lol. I should spend an afternoon brushing up on everything again I guess. I don't use Dreamweaver when I'm coding either -- mwahahahaha... I guess more mistakes and it takes a bit more time to figure things out >_> hmnhmn go go memory !
Anyway, for those who are apart of the Orange Soul Creations Group, please, I need some stuff/information/pictures for the page. So tell me what you want to put on the page/give me the information so I can compile?

Tiesto Concert was full of WIN. EPIC WIN.
I was in a bad mood earlier on in the day--probably from being tired in general, but it was all melted away by the awesomeness of TIESTO.
I only wish I bought some of his merchandise... I want a Tiesto T-shirt now, and his CD. I can always buy his cd later, but yessss... I will steal Matthias's t-shirt.
That was my first concert. Ever.
So I've been officially de-virginized XD yay !! go concerts!!!
I was surprised to see a lot of old school fans there. There weren't a lot of people under the age of 20 or even 25 I should say. A lot of people looked like they were out for either clubbing or raving. It wasn't a rave I'd say because his style of music is different from w/e I know in raves, but it was awesome none the less!!!! I had glow sticks because it didn't seem right if I didn't have them while dancing... randomly.. I blame Highschool dances.. >__>;
There was a lot of funny things happening during the concert: white people dancing like it was some brian adams/country concert, people getting wasted then tripping down the stairs, a girl jacking off a guy... Yeah, it was amusing XD;
omg the light show was awesome, and same with the guy who opened for Tiesto. I think his name was Kevin Shiu... EITHER WAY, he was awesome too.
weeeeee!! so tired now hahahahaha
time to work on website I guess :d

Since AE has been over for a few days, there has been this overall empty feeling. I'm not spending most of my time making cosplays, and I don't exactly have a job just yet... I feel the need to really create something ...
Either way, I'm going to go hand out resumes so maybe I can get a part time job this time while heading to school with a full work load. I'm taking a good 5 courses this time, and maybe, just maybe this once, I'll be able to organize my time. I'm actually quite excited because I haven't done anything design related in school for such a freakin' long time! NO MORE ENGLISH YOU BASTARRRDS!!!

Yes, I used treeviewer's cosplay as part of the main banner. Though, what I'm thinking about doing is making the banner interchangeable or something. (Sorry, I'm reaching for words because I'm tired). What I mean is that when a user loads the page or something, the banner should be able to change through like... 4 or 5 other banners. So you know, It would always look a little different. Kind of how Jpopsuki's banners are always changing every time you load them ^^;

I've absorbed myself into another game, and this time its one of the silliest, kiddiest games ever! I blame YOpan for this... I'm playing Pokemon FireRed on a nintendo emulator XD;; .. goddman. Though now that I think about it, its pretty addictive. Not only do you get to kill pokemons, you also get to steal things from people, kill people's pets, practice the art of slavery, and beat up little kids in a duel like youngster Jimmy... i betcha he's crying in the corner right now.
So what pokemons do i regularly use? Abra, Gyarados, Drowzee, Ivysaur, and Pigeotto. lol. Now I'm starting to remember random bits of Pokemon the anime XD from my childhood. I used to know all the pokemon names, and yeah-- I feel as geeky as I was then...
Ugh, SFU accommodation worries me because it would mean that there will be like a loss of convenience in being able to change in and out of cosplay during the day without having to carry around a large bag, or going off of campus to change ~__~;
OH, I got my tabi's today with the rubber soles and stuff. Since they're boot like and they go up the calf, it doesn't fit my calves ~__~; thats my problem with any sort of boots that don't stretch. and these one's don't stretch. They have the traditional bu ckles and stuff. UGH, WHY ARE MY CALVES SO BIG!?!~~!!?! I hate big calves, and I want a way to slim them down. Running only pumps them up : \ *sigh*

school school school. Summer is almost over, and school is around the corner again. But this time I think I'm actually looking forward to school because it will be in a different environment, and also it will be one step closer to what I want to do and is something I'm actually interested in. Plus, Osakkun is also there so :3 I have a friend !
Something about taking the same courses as osakkun is makes me feel like I can't think and do things on my own without having a friend tell me or something like that :\. I don't mean on copying or something along the lines of that, but I guess I'm scared of venturing on my own haha... I need to grow up. I couldn't exactly get to my computer today because it was really busy ~_~ why are my Sundays so busy?

I guess that is my schedule. I'll be taking 1160-1162, 1165, 1166 because osakkun is taking those too, but IF i decide to change those last two courses, I'll be taking 1163 and 1164. the ones noted in brackets are either unsure of the time, or unsure of the courses I'm taking. They all look good because I have enough time to go to iaido, and if i only take 1160-1162, 1165, and 1166 then I'll have thursdays and fridays off. Though taking 5 courses this term, I don't know about the work load so they'll probably be spent doing something.
Ah, I guess I might not be able to go to my art class, unless there's a class on friday or thursday. I don't want to go to the class on saturday because of that Auntie that is there. She always compares my artwork with others (especially her "artistic" daughter's). Also, she likes to take my drafts and use them without permission.
Anyway, IF i get lazy next semester, please someone .. XD nudge me, kick me, poke me, slap me, do w/e to make me realize i'm doing a shit job : \ and remind me that I can and will do a better job D:
On another note: I've made 15 bunny charms; two of the bunnies were made into a keychain charm, I made at least one bunny thats black so you know I'm not being racist, and the rest of the 13 are going to be used as cellphone charms. I also made 4 black cats, and 2 onigiri keychain charms--both of these will be somehow sold at AE this year.
I should work on my cosplay sooon.... T__T: I forgot to ask maiea to help me grab a pattern : | .. I wonder if they still have the fabric sale...

I have to admit, I really like Amuro Namie's CD more then Crystal Kays. The first song on the PLAY cd is Hide&Seek. It sounds so weird... but I love it so much. lol I also like to drown my ears in bass especially with my new speakers, I'm able to shake the whole house with my speakers... hehe.. Take that noisy neighbors!!!
I downloaded Asia Engineer and Exile to see if I could find a song I like. Exile is alright, nothing too special there I think. Some normal r&b songs and then your regular slow jam song, but other than that theres nothing much. Asia engineer-I haven't listened to their whole cd yet. I will though, after I finish the PLAY album again XD;
I almost forgot about NO REGRET LIFE. I found them when they did the ending to one of the seasons of Naruto (i know, so otaku like..) but they're an awesome band. I love how the vocalist sounds when he sings and the way they play D: its so summery and awesome >_<;; I should find their other cds or something and get the one where they did the naruto ed to... HMN
Normally I don't download Anime songs unless they're from an awesome anime.
I think the best animes to come out lately is Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuuchou and Claymore (exception is Lucky star just because its lucky star).
Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuuchou is awesome because of the animation quality and the story I guess. Its a bit stereotypical when it comes to a group of teens trying to save tokyo from total destruction from some evil force, but in this anime its a bundle of stereotypical awesome. though it runs on a generic plot / theme the way they did it was really unique and interesting I think. It has a lot of cultural/religious references and connections which added depth to the plot and there are at least one or two characters in there that are interesting.
Plus the fact that this anime has awesome Opening and Ending songs.
I guess Claymore is like another bundle of shounen jump stereotypes but this anime is pretty dark so thats why i'm keeping up with it. I heard the manga is waaay more intense... but I'll see after the series ends. I don't want to spoil anything. hehe. Claymore's opening/ending is pretty much Jrock so yeah no happy happy animu songs for you!!!!!
now to concentrate on my portfolio before cosplay : | and hopefully I won't be rushing my cosplay ...

I also remembered that I have to poke some certain PEOPLE that are in charge of AE to remind them that they owe me $25 for pre-reg that was supposed to be refunded to me because I became staff... -_-

ahhahaha LJ.... Not updating as often now because I've been doing random stuff like....watching HOUSE to keep myself occupied. I gotta stop marathoning every season of everything I get into now. I've finished House season 1 and 2 pretty fast (yay for stealing dvd's from yopan :D) and now I've finished watching season 3 on stage6 ... Lol. But i've been productive ! I've been working on making the cellphone charms, and now Not only do i have dango's but i have onigiri keychains, bunny cellphone charms, and a special panda charm :3.
You see, i can be productive and watch House at the same time lOl.
Damn paints though, dont try fast enough and i really don't have a proper place to "hang" the charms to dry. they look alright :D i say-- I tried to make them as proffessional as possible. somehow the bunnies look a bit retarded still... I think I'll make a random black bunnie here and there. Lol so far they're all white XD now i'm not that racist.. I should make a chocolate bunnie sometime too. OOHH what happened to the dangoooos!!!
I like super sculpty better than FIMO officially. painting is a bum though...
Anyway, what really happened during the weekend is that some nice guy out there decided to take my pin + bank card number and try to take 1000 out of my account. too bad for that greedy bastard my account only allowed a max of 500 withdrawl from the bank machine at any time >_>;; lol so obviously he didn't get it. I've changed that though since and my bank card + pin. Unfortunately now, even I don't remember my pin... So I think I'm going to have to change my pin again :|

I thought it was going to rain on sunday because the week previous it had been holy crap sunny all freakin' week long. Though luckily we didn't get the rain until the bbq was way over, so yay ! it was such a nice day. Though as much sunscreen i put on, I managed to still get some sunburn because I missed some spots. I feel like i'm a hell lot darker @_@... Hmn
it was really nice seeing everyone again, though in a way it felt like we're all a bit distanced. I guess that comes with us doing what we're doing in our lives and all haha. funny enough, we bumped into another group of churchill people which was unexpected :3 all good. I had fun listening to william scream while karen beat him >_>;
Chicken wings were gooood :O thx fish for doing most of the cooking XD its the fish touch that made it taste super :D I forgot how hot the sand was, and I couldn't dig my feet deep enough to even get to the cooler sand : | --- Seriously, how long has it been since I went to the beach o_O. i forgot how squishy the sand was when it was low tied and all the gross / random things you'd find when the water isnt there to cover it haha... Ah, I don't know >_> I want to try wake boarding or something...
It felt like i made awkward conversation throughout most of the meet up o_o. It was like churchill lunch again, but at the beach and the feeling of burning...

monday = $0.09 wings. I shared 200 wings with 6 people, and I still manage to stuff myself. this is worse than chicken nuggets. While chicken nuggest numb your tongue and mouth after the first 10, chicken wings become sickly salty + w/e sauce you decide to put on it after a few, and it doesn't numb your whole mouth. so you're stuck with a residue that you can only get rid of by buying expensive drinks at the bar.
ugh... Still so full....

It was crazy movie day on the 25th of May.
Went out and to Osakkun's house and waited for panda to come around :3 I hope you're enjoying your new place now. remember, i'm going to crash your place soon ;3 bwwahahah..
After panda came around, we headed out to the paramount in down town. Had Japadog down there, and omg it is awesomely delicious >_<; I want to try the miso or oroshi? next time :D
I didn't think that there would be so many people at the 4 pm showing, but i guess it was also because that it was the 2nd day since the movie opened. haha
Hmn, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End was all satisfying. nothing less. In fact, I might want to see it again. I couldn't understand some of the jamacan accent during the film because I suck at accents. I'm Happy I watched pirates of the caribbean: Dead Man's Chest right before I watched the third movie. There was no cliff hanger pain for me hahah. Hmnhmn it was good to see panda and osakkun
Though it was hot that day : \
28 weeks later was a totally random thing afterwards. I didn't know that yopan and his friends were going to go see the movie that day either. I wanted to see it after i've seen the previews. Its so intense. I almost forgot how much blood there was until the eye-gouge scene -_-;; Good reminders of the first movie that really creeped me out. I think the "zombies" are getting smarter and faster perhaps... hmn : \ I want another movie. It was so intense, but not as creepy as the first movie. maybe because I wathed the first one alone in the dark and in the basement : \
Osakkun should have watched it too D: hhehe..
*sigh* I missed EatVancouver because of the stupid Driving lessons that I couldn't cancel. thanks for taking up the stupid saturdays... Though on the other hand, I am pretty alright in driving. I just need to be a bit more aggressive, and I need to practice the parking. AHHhh... I hate parking.

Its like a week after AE, and I have a feeling its just going to be one massive rave/club atmosphere hahaha Kind of anyway

Oh well... I guess I'll come up with something comfortable, and hopefully no one will pick pocket me lOl (or they'll die by my hands).

Photoshoot was a success! one of the most organized ones ever, and we got a tonne of shots.
I was pretty tired in the morning but I think I was feeling more loopy than ever. maiea and I were marathon sewing 'til last minute. If I didn't get sick I swear that wouldn't have happened, but we finished anyway! lol I want to fix up my costume a bit and then go at another photoshoot somewhere else. Like more of a nature theme (So we can all be warriors)! Its probably one of the only cosplays I've ever done without a weapon. Kind of strange but very true !!
Its a costume thats worth doing again haha..
The costumes were awesome!!
-Maple's colours and her HAIR was so awesome. It made me want to attempt hair like that next time lol
-Amefuri + Maple looked so great together and because they were wearing red'ish colors I think they looked better in the garden and everything lol
-i loved the style of Vyce's costume >_< Its the one I wanted to attempt at the begining. Next time! I will have something like that but maybe in a red and gold LOL
-omg maiea's was so awesome with the long train. Mine got dirty too, but I'm too lazy to do anything about it. I think the bottom of mine started fraying lol...
-I want the fabric that konme picked up for his costume! It looks so cool with the pattern and everything ahh
We need another photoshoot like that lol

I don't get why I always get shafted whenever I get a cold. My brother and my dad has the same cold but how the heck did I end up getting a fever and all that crap D:! it was at 102.2 yesterday --and I laugh at this now, but it felt like DEATH. couldn't do anything. Today I'm just coughing I guess o_O. My rips and abdominal muscles are pretty sore. Not to mention I got an ugly rash from medication... ewww D: I'm cursed!!!
Either way, I've been thinking about the photoshoot at SunYatSen Garden, and I've come to realize that I probably won't have Saguinius's costume done in time, and probably mine won't be done in time. AND even IF I go to the photoshoot I seriously have to leave at 12:30 because of my nice driving teacher... I have an appointment with him at 1pm. (I should really start practicing driving--more importantly parking.) But if you are all going to go to Jfest afterwards :3 I guess I can meet up with you people there?
Aggghh I've been looking forward to the photoshoot for so long too !!! WHY DID I HAVE TO GET SICK?!?!! (my damned brother brought this upon me...) Either way, it seems that I can't change my driving time with my instructor (I think he's getting a free lunch or something at my mom's place...Like HELL he's going to change the times). Either way, I have my inner part of the dress done, now all I need to do is the over jacket bit. Wish me luck??!?!?

Ugh, I'm sick again. I think my immune system basically got shot when I went drinking at Guu's and then staying up late probably didn't help. THEN my BROTHER had to get sick and not have the consideration to cover his mouth while coughing. its gross. -_- and now I think I'm sick along with my dad.
Bwahh, I don't know if its just me or the sickness, but I feel pretty crappy about the costumes I can make. LIke I have the one that I need to have done by on May12th. Its probably the sickness, but something about me basically turned down the confidence. Now I'm not sure IF i can sew something awesome.
*sigh*

Pinking Sheers would be nice right about now. Stupid frayed ends are seriously tangling ME up.
That reminds me though, I need some broadcloth. I realized my inner dress is very transparent. So I need a broadcloth dress or something. Or maybe I'm going to change the inner dress all together. (I cut the dress too small so it doesn't flare out quite enough. Or maybe I'll just UBER LAYER lol.) PLus the fabric for the innerdress is kind of stiffer then I wanted it to be. I might just switch over and make it out of something else T_T ahh... Indecisive.
AS for cosplay at AE. If Panda isn't going to make it, then I'll probably hold off of doing the secret pair cosplay for now.
Dunno who else I'd cosplay though... I want to cosplay soemthing awesome--cosplaying alone is a bit lonely >_>;
